El sábado, en las instalaciones del complejo Sueños, se llevó a cabo el cierre del primer año del Curso Superior de Medicina del Deporte, que llevó adelante ACMDBA (Asociación Civil de Medicina del Deporte de Buenos Aires), en conjunto con el Colegio Médico de la Región V. Con la presencia del intendente municipal Fernando Bouvier, secretaria de gobierno María Julia Marincovich, director municipal de Deportes, Patricio Guerzoli, directora de Educación María Inés Álvarez, director del hospital doctor Marcelo Herrera, el presidente de ACMDBA, doctor Rubén ´´Pequi´´ Villa, y una eminencia de la medicina en el deporte como es el doctor Néstor Lentini, entre otros, culminó este año este importante curso de la especialidad que se dictó en nuestra ciudad. Cardiología, medicina regenerativa, preparación física, antropometría, deporte adaptado, cámara hiperbárica, traumatismo encéfalo craneano, lesiones deportivas de campo, Derecho y deporte, neurociencias, fueron algunos de los temas que se trataron en la constante evolución de la medicina aplicada al deporte para el desarrollo biopsicosocial del deportista. Alumnos, profesionales de la salud y la preparación física de distintos puntos del país fueron parte de éste cierre de curso.
El intendente Bouvier expresó que ´´tienen todo mi compromiso para apoyar este tipo de iniciativas, que tienen que ver con la salud y también la educación y el deporte, tres patas fundamentales en la formación de un individuo. En arrecifes hay aproximadamente 8000 deportistas, por eso es necesario trabajar en la prevención¨. El doctor Villa agradeció especialmente la presencia del intendente. ´´Es la primera vez que una autoridad municipal está presente y por eso quiero reconocerlo, es un envión importante para nosotros´´, sintetizó.
En la actualidad ACMDBA tiene 5000 socios adherentes distribuidos en 20 países, y tiene su sede en nuestra ciudad. Los cursos se dictan online con la participación de destacados especialistas en medicina del deporte, y los exámenes se realizan de manera presencial, como ocurrió en este cierre de año.
