EL INTENDENTE RECIBIÓ A INTEGRANTES DE LA SOCIEDAD VASCA ANTE LA CELEBRACIÓN DE SU 102º ANIVERSARIO

La Sociedad Vasca de Arrecifes es la colectividad de mayor trayectoria ininterrumpida y con diversas y múltiples actividades que enlazan la defensa y sostenimiento de su identidad con una importante labor social a nivel local.

Este sábado 17 de febrero, desde las 20:00, el Centro Vasco de nuestra ciudad celebrará nada menos que 102 años de existencia con una gran fiesta en su sede de calle Lamadrid, inaugurada con un desfile por calle Ricardo Gutiérrez que se iniciará desde el predio de calle Rivadavia donde se encuentra el Mural de Gernica, emblemático símbolo de paz y de raigambre vasca.

Por este motivo, el intendente Fernando Bouvier recibió a Mariana Dominé Irigoyen, Francisco Martinich y Laureano Villa, integrantes de la comisión directiva de la Sociedad y descendientes de emigrantes del País Vasco.

Más allá de esta celebración que se aproxima, el encuentro sirvió para intercambiar inquietudes sobre actividades culturales y sociales a realizar en conjunto entre la entidad y la gestión municipal. En ese sentido, el Intendente manifestó su absoluta disposición para apoyar la labor de esta colectividad, como las de otras naciones europeas que en su momento encontraron en la Argentina una tierra que los acogió con los brazos abiertos y que ellos ayudaron a crecer como si fuera su propio país.
