Esta semana, la Dirección de Discapacidad de la Municipalidad de Arrecifes participó de reuniones que buscan articular el trabajo que llevarán adelante con distintas dependencias que tratan el tema discapacidad.
En una de ellas, la directora del área, María Paula Fernández, estuvo reunida con profesionales y personal administrativo de la Junta Evaluadora del Certificado Único de Discapacidad (CUD) y del Certificado Médico Oficial (CMO). Del encuentro también participó la referente a nivel local de la Agencia Nacional de Discapacidad, Manuelita Escolá, que otorga las pensiones por discapacidad.
Por otro lado, Fernández se entrevistó con las referentes de la comisión y coordinación del Centro CONIN Arrecifes, en la que también estuvo la Inspectora de Psicología Comunitaria y Pedagogía Social, María Inés Álvarez. En la misma se planificaron estrategias de intervención conjunta que abarquen áreas de salud, educación y desarrollo comunitario, propiciando la atención de la primera infancia.
