El pasado sábado 10, ante la presencia de una gran cantidad de exalumnos, docentes, docentes jubilados, amigos y familiares, Josefina Viu, exalumna, exdocente y exdirectora de la Escuela Rural 26 “Martín Miguel de Güemes” del paraje San Francisco, presentó su libro “Recuerdos”, un nostálgico homenaje a los recuerdos que conserva de su vieja escuela.
Fue una emotiva reunión en la que el libro fue la perfecta excusa para el reencuentro de la maestra con la que fue, durante su carrera docente, su comunidad educativa, hasta 1987 cuando al construirse el nuevo edificio, sintió que ya su labor estaba cumplida y decidió jubilarse; aunque la historia de Josefina y la escuela comenzó en verdad cuando en 1941 ingresa como alumna.
El texto es una exquisita acuarela de la vida rural en aquellos tiempos. Comienza con una descripción amable de lo que fueron los primeros tiempos de los inmigrantes en los comienzos del siglo pasado y su experiencia como hija de aquella corriente migratoria en el campo; costumbres, usos, experiencias de la época nos van situando en la vida rural y su evolución. De lectura fácil y amena, algunos ejemplares estarán en pocos días más en la Biblioteca Pública.
